Regina, Saskatchewan – The Saskatchewan Soccer Association is proud to announce the success of the Under 13 and Under 15 Provincial teams at the US Cup in Minnesota last week. (www.usacup.com).

Saskatoon Youth Soccer Inc. conducted tryouts for a male and female team to represent Saskatoon Zone 6 at the 2008 Saskatchewan Summer Games on June 14/15. There were 47 girls and 33 boys who attended the tryout. The teams will be made up of 18 players.

Tide Mini Festival of Soccer
The Tide Mini Festival of Soccer took place over June 8 - 10, this weekend and had a great turnout. There was a total of 300 mini teams (108 Under-6 teams, 117 Under-8 teams, 75 Under-10 teams). Premier SISCO's Attract Out of Province Teams!!!
This weekend's Premier Boys SISCO attracted a total of 36 teams with 44% of the teams being out-of-town teams consisting of 20 Saskatoon teams, 7 Edmonton teams, 6 Calgary teams, 1 Regina team, 1 Prince Albert team, and 1 Warman team. It's Almost Been A Year...
...since the opening of the SaskTel Sports Centre at 150 Nelson Road. We opened the doors in early January 2006 when the only thing that was complete was the indoor turf. Since that time, we have seen the completion of the Terry Fox Walking Track, The Eclipse Fitness Centre, The Pleasureway Pub, The Pleasureway Deck, the downstairs outdoor concession and both hard court fields.

Position: Finance Administration Manager
The Saskatoon Soccer Centre Inc. is accepting applications for a Finance Administration Manager. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for the ongoing financial operations of the SaskTel Sports Centre and the Saskatoon Kinsmen Henk Ruys Soccer Centre.

FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN BEGINS TO TAKE SHAPE
The Director for the "Building our Future Together" Campaign has been determined with the appointment of Hugh Vassos.
Hugh will start to assemble a Campaign Team over the next couple of weeks that will shape Soccer's Campaign and Fundraising Drive.
Soccer is also pleased to announce that Declan O'Reilly has been appointed as Fundraising Chair to co-ordinate the various committees that will be required.

The Just For Kicks Tournament deadline was Thursday, April 2nd. If there are any teams out there who are still wanting to get in, we will allow applications to come in over the weekend. Drop them off in an envelope at the admissions desk over the weekend or in the drop slot!

Provincial Weekend Approaching
The SSA Provincial Championships for Senior Men's, Senior Women's, Masters Men's Competitive, Division 1 Men's and Division 1 Women's is being held this weekend at the Soccer Centre.
38 teams from all over the province will be in town to compete.
Admission for spectators is $3.00/day or $5.00/weekend pass.
There will be a social held on the Saturday evening, which is open to the public. Dance starts at 9pm and admission is free.
