Position: Sports Administrator for Technical Office

Nature of Work:
The Sports Administrator of the Saskatchewan Soccer Association (SSA) assists with the day-to-day operation of the SSA Technical office. Reporting to the Executive Director, this person prepares correspondence and provides reception, office and telephone support. The Sports Administrator provides support to other SSA staff with player registration, administration of clinics and tournaments and any other administrative activities as requested by the Executive Director. Attention to detail, a high rate of accuracy, strong planning and organization skills, an ability to meet deadlines, and strong communication skills are all necessary for the position.

Qualifications and Expertise:
• Minimum 2-3 years administrative/front office experience. • Strong computer application and Internet skills. • Experience in developing and maintaining positive working relationships, meeting deadlines, and willingness to learn/understand the SSA objectives and goals. • Able to work in a fast paced and highly active environment. • Knowledge of the game of soccer and the soccer environment is desirable.

Position Details:
This position is approximately 30 hours/week. Core hours of work will be Tuesday to Friday with additional hours (including some weekends) required to meet seasonal program needs. Pay range is to be determined based on the qualifications of the candidate.
