NEW City Wide U18 League for 2007 Outdoor

If you are an U18 player (born in 1989 or 1990), there are NO RESIDENCY RULES or ZONE BOUNDARIES for the Outdoor 2007 season. There will be two divisions available to choose from – Division I and Division II. Both divisions will have standings but you can self select the level you’d like to play in. If there are less than 4 teams/division, an interlocking schedule may be required. You have the freedom to form your own teams independently with players from across the city. If you would rather not form your own team you may register with any Zone and the Zones will work together to find you a team in the appropriate division. Existing teams within Zones are free to remain together and register through their current zone. ALL teams must secure a HOME ZONE. The Zone in turn will collect and submit fees, register the team and accept responsibility for that team. By registering with a youth division you will receive all of the benefits of Zone support (fronting fees, uniforms and equipment, management help, coaching and provincial eligibility). After registering if you chose to transfer to another team or zone you may do so through a transfer process which will modified as required to ensure it meets SSA rules.

UNDER AGE PLAYERS – residency rules and zone boundary rules still apply. Note to U14 & U16 players: there are unlimited permits to an U18 team within your zone of residence. You must be a registered player on a U14 or U16 team to be eligible to permit up to an U18 team. All other permitting rules continue to apply.
