Tide Mini Festival of Soccer

The Tide Mini Festival of Soccer took place over June 8 - 10, this weekend and had a great turnout. There was a total of 300 mini teams (108 Under-6 teams, 117 Under-8 teams, 75 Under-10 teams). The jamboree event took place at the SaskTel SPorts Centre (indoor & outdoor turf), Forest Park fields, and Ernest Lindner fields. Hyundai was on-site Friday night with nine display vehicles, a shuttle vehicle to pick-up people from the far side of the parking lot, a test vehicle for parents to take out, a shoot-out with prizes for kids, and a chance for parents to enter a contest to win a new vehicle. The Tide Mini Festival also supplied each player with a Fruit-to-Go bars, a Bear Paw cookie, a certificate of participation, tattoos and coupons. Tim Horton representatives were on-site Sunday to hand out medals, water bottles and bottled water to all Under-6 participants. If you are a coach of an Under-6 team and your team was unable to attend the tournament please come to the office to pick up your team's medals and water bottles during office hours 10:00am - 4:30pm.
