HOLLANDIA SOCCER CLUB AND SASKATOON YOUTH SOCCER SCORES WITH DONATION FROM UNIROYAL AND VALUE TIRE
SASKATOON, SK, August 22, 2007 – Value Tire, the Alliance Tire Professionals and Uniroyal have donated funds and soccer balls valued at more than $1100 to the Hollandia Soccer Club and the Saskatoon Youth Soccer Under-10 program as part of the Uniroyal / Alliance Tire Professionals soccer program throughout Canada.
“The Uniroyal / Alliance Soccer Program is great because it helps us give back to the community which has been so supportive of us,” said Paul Den Brok of Value Tire. “We have really enjoyed meeting the families with the Hollandia Soccer Club and the Saskatoon Youth Soccer, and we get a real kick out of giving away the free soccer balls to the kids.”
This is the second year for the Uniroyal / Alliance Tire Professionals soccer program in Canada. To date, Uniroyal and its Alliance Tire Professionals dealers have provided more than 26,000 free soccer balls to soccer families and have donated more than $290,500 in funds and equipment to local youth soccer leagues and clubs.
“One of the best aspects of our soccer program is linking Alliance dealers such as Value Tire who are tremendous community supporters with organizations like the Hollandia Soccer Club and the Saskatoon Youth Soccer who conduct outstanding programs for local children,” said Alliance Tire Professionals Program Manager Roger Menard.
