Announcing Kavia Auto Body Inc. Field

Jodi Blackwell, Executive Director of the Saskatoon Soccer Centre Inc. (SSCI) is pleased to announce that Kavia Auto Body, a well known Saskatoon auto body business, has purchased exclusive naming and branding rights for the North Main Field at the SaskTel Sport Centre. Kavia Auto Body has signed a 10 year - $ 150,000.00 agreement with SSCI to obtain the naming and branding rights at the facility. The field will now be officially named Kavia Auto Body Inc. Field.

Kavia Auto Body is a 25 year old business in Saskatoon, owned and operated by Raj Kavia, and was recently recognized by the Saskatoon Achievement in Business Excellence (SABEX) Awards as the best small business of 2009. The business recently expanded to a new 9,600 sq. ft. location in downtown Saskatoon. Over the years, Kavia Auto Body has earned a reputation specializing in foreign auto repair and features some of the latest equipment in automotive repair technology.

Raj Kavia, his wife, son and daughter are all actively involved in the Saskatoon soccer community. When asked why he chose the Sask Tel Sports Centre for a business sponsorship, he replied “There is so much activity at this building and such a wide range people using this facility that it seemed like a perfect way to do something for my community as well as increasing the awareness and familiarity of my business.”

The SaskTel Sports Centre is one of the largest and most modern indoor sports facilities in Canada. The 167,000 square ft. facility features a full size indoor artificial grass soccer pitch as well as two side sport courts, an indoor running track, weight and exercise rooms, a cafeteria, a licensed pub, a concession and a licensed deck. The Outdoor Fields at the facility are comprised of artificial grass turf with two football fields overlaying two soccer pitches. The Fields feature lighting, fencing, bleacher seating for up to 300 spectators and illuminated score clocks. Naming rights for the South Field are still available.
